Rant 1/ Hospital - I had an appointment which I have been waiting for for 7 months to see a specialist at my local hospital for this coming Monday. I should have seen him in December but due to bad weather, the appointments for him was cancelled and rebooked. I could not see him until Feb. Now the hospital rang this afternoon to say they have cancelled due to the specialist not being able to attend on Monday. Now I have to wait for another appointment. 7 months to see a specialist, I asked for the appointment in July last year.

Rant 2/ Now my gas central heating boiler has packed up. No hot water, no heating. As I suffer from arthritis, this damp cold weather is not good for me and having no heating is making it worse. Hopefully, the engineer should be out to me before 8pm.

This is just a sad indictment of the country as a whole, hopefully the engineer won't adopt the same principles as said specialist!

I hate comercials that into the show Im watching at the most interesting part. I also hate the people who work behind a desk and say this will make it better and esier, and the people who do the work say no it wont.

Yeah, he showed up at 10.20pm last night.

Ohwell, luckily is was nothing serious. The water valve setting when we had the boiler serviced in the Autumn was set wrongly. Not enough water was coming into the boiler. Due to a safty feature, the boiler shut itself down.

I was on another forum and providing some input into particular thread which I expanded and carried over into a few other threads. Immediately thereafter, someone else does exactly the same thing, okay no problemo. A few days later did a some more work across several more threads and guess what? Same person immediately does exactly the same again, I'll just copy what you do that'll get the job fixed. Why can't these people just think for themselves?

I think it is because people in inherintly lazy and stupid. I'm surprised we exist as a species at all because we are so stupid.

There are the odd ones who do have an independant idea or original thought

Though sadley they are few and far between, example different sides of the pond. when one person comes up with something good right away you get some idiot who says oh well that's a good idea so I will copy off them, having no brain in there own heads must rely on others to generate thoughts and motivation for them

I could write a book on the subject. I have spent way too many years working with people and forming my obsevations on behavoiur and stuff, and have come to realize it is only a handfull of people who make things happen the movers and shakers if you will. THE REST ARE JUST A MINDLESS BUNCH AUTOMATONS. "Cybermen" who follow blindly like a dog on a leash.
Like a bunch of sodding lemmins all going off the edge of the cliff together.

I don't there is any quick fix for the problem, one not even our freind Mike can fix, with a little spacle and some paint. I'm sorry to say it would only be a white wash solution at best. What these people need is a whole new construction job from the foundation up!

What are the Manigers thinking when they know you have stuff to do in your own department, and are busy with it, and tell you to do something else. I do not like it when you get a manigement team that you can joke with and treat them like one of the guys (figure of speach ladies) then one decides to throw in the towel and quit. Atleast with the ones we like we humilate them and use them to raise money for the stores charaty.

Hello how stupid are you really.
Each box has the store number on it, it would not be so bad if it was only once but this is 3 times in the last month!!
WTH, Than I have to go out of my way to drive 45 min each way 95 km round trip to pick it up.
Then to top it all off I go out to the truck to drive there and low and behold my tire is flat.
Then is that is not bad enough oh no. It gets worse , I have a bought of Montazuma's revenge to top it all off.

Can this day get any better I say to myself, appently not

Again with the screw ups from the warehouse!! This time the pillocks sent 1558's stuff to me along with my order. Now I have to figure out how to get the stuff over the river.
Wasted all sodding morning dealing with e-mails back and forth.
Finally I wind up having to go in the afternoon, after work and deliver it myself.
On my time and at my expense! BUGGER OFF!!
Apparently every store had had an issue with these idiots, it is beyond stupid now. I think someone needs to be sacked and a whole new lot hired instead.
