Titanic Trivia
« on: March 02, 2010, 09:55:42 am »
Titanic was forewarned about ice from two liners, one was French, the other German, what are their names?

You`ve got me stumped then cap. The only vessels to send ice warnings to Titanic, as far as I am aware, were Caronia, Baltic, Amerika, Californian and Mesaba. I could and probably will be wrong but I eagerly await the answer :)

Let's see if anyone else comes up with the answer, but there is at least one other ship for your list...

Interesting cap, you learn something every day.

In 1898 Morgan Robertson publishes a book called Futility about a ship that struck an iceberg and sinks on it`s maiden voyage. Can you name the ship in the book??

Good question mate, if I recall it was at the top in first class, boat deck I think as to which side I think that a bit of a trick question as it was in the middle. Leaning to starboard side I think.
