ABOUT US
Our Aim
As an enthusiastic group of people who share a common passion, great ships, we are committed to providing a resource that allows other like-minded people the opportunity to share in the developing history of great ships as well as the people who sail on them, the people who build them, their ports of call. At our heart are the great ocean liners of the past but we do not forsake the ships of today, be they liners, cruise ships, tugs or tankers. We are proud of being recognised as being a more relaxed and friendly group and we continually take steps to maintain that atmosphere.
Our History
Famous Liners Online started several years ago as a very small group researching maritime history. It developed into a broader group that stimulated the creation of the Titanic Boss Systems family a more research orientated community.
Development of the Famous Liners Online group started a few years ago and has now developed into a well-respected site. Our membership has grown steadily over the past few months and we are pleased that we have reached many corners of the globe with resident members in many countries.
Our Team
To help run our site we have a small team of dedicated people who have a shared responsibility of making us one of the better maritime history sites on the internet. A further responsibility is to ensure our members get the most out of their time with us and in an enjoyable way. We've even introduced a little diversification by adding discussion topics on gaming and photography.
The team is headed up by the site owner, Christopher Edward Marshall with support from three administrators
- Katie (aka Krazyness)
- Mark (aka waterboy)
- Bill (aka White Star)
and two Global Moderators,
- Lisa (aka Irish Rose)
